Brilliant Place To Visit
We really enjoyed our trip here. Lots to see. Nice music from the organs. Every exhibit has a handy information board to tell you all about it.
Great coasteering trip
We had a really great time on one of the company's coasteering trips. They catered to all abilities and confidence levels and the staff were very professional and helpful. The coast line was absolutely stunning, we will definitely do it again when we are next in the region.
Wonderful Beach
Very long beach - lovely and clean. Watch the tide though - comes in very fast! Plenty of places to get up onto the Promenade where there are lots of places to have a drink / snack.
Great
We really enjoyed our day at Playdale Farm... so many activities for the kids to enjoy... particularly the go karts and summer toboggan. They have two brill play areas. Great to tire little ones out. Goats and alpacas good fun to feed. Not a huge selection of animals but enough for small ones. Indoor play area large. Only issue we had was our daughters hay fever going bonkers after playing in straw barn... which I should really have anticipated. Nice little gift shop and an inexpensive day out. Highly recommend 👍
What a view!
This time of year the gardens are obviously sparse but tidy, during the summer they are spectacular. This is a beautiful place to sit and take in the fantastic vie over Filey bay, magnificent !
A Quaint Museum
Lots of local history and curiosities on display. The archival photographs of aircraft on the beach and the fishing industry were nostalgic.The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Fab beach
Took my girls a few times to the beach, we all loved it as it was clean not crowded like some beaches and with the tide out you could walk a fair bit along the sea front just don't run about too much because of the walk back.
Lovely whiskey
This is a great place to visit - the tour is informative and the food in the restaurant excellent. Thankyou to Amy for our tour
A hidden gem
The theatre is in plain sight especially at night now with its spectacular lighting but is worth visiting either to see the current play or film or to visit the the shop which has a great range of local gifts or the bar which is very beautiful.
So clean
This beach is huge and so clean. Very fine sand. We visited out of season (March) so was very quiet. Don't like a busy beach so it was a pleasant stroll along the foreshore into town for an ice cream.
Out of season visit
Being February and cold we only briefly visited the castle as it was close to our hotel The views on a nice day would be spectacular We will definitely be coming back for a return visit
